Unexplained infertility is a diagnosis of exclusion. The diagnosis is usual/y made after
investigations show normal semen parameters, ovulatory concentrations of serum
progesterone in the mid-luteal phase, tuba/ patency, and a normal uterine cavity.
Unexplained infertility can be highly frustrating for patients, who rnay interpret this as meaning that there is apparently "no cause" for their infertility and hence no effective treatment. So, every doy, more couples with unexplained infertility come to reproductive medicine clinics looking far new and effective treatments. This is an update and a treatment propasal based on published evidences.
