Renal infarction is a pathology of infrequent diagnosis, the clinical picture can be confused easily with a renal colic or an acute pyelonephritis, and so must be kept in mind for the evaluation of a patient that potentially can be affected by it. Here we present a case of renal infarction that was seen in our hospital and a brief discussion is done referring to the diagnosis and treatment of this entity.
