Ocular myiasis (Ophthalmomyiasis) caused by Oestrus ovis (A case report).
The case of a 52-year-old woman is presented. The patient complained of a foreing-body sensation in her right eye. The eye showed redness and hyperaemia.
The cornea was normal. Seven whife larvae ot 1 mm were easily removed mechanically. Removed the larvaes led fo rapid and uncomplicated recovery.
The larvae was indentified as a firsf stoge larvae ot Oesfrus ovis .
