The Chiari osteotomy is a surgical procedure for the treatment of congenital hip dysplasia. This technique is not free of complications such as: operatory wound infection, sciatic nerve injury, superficial and deep infection, deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and non union. The
purpose of our study is to present three cases of non union after a Chiari osteotomy performed at the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Service of the University of Chile Clinic Hospital, between 1987 and 2001.
