Case Report: Regional Odontodysplasia
The Regional Odontodysplasia is a rare anomaly that affects the development of the dental pieces, causing a great functional, aesthetic and physological alteration. lt ajfects with slight preference to women with temporary or permanent dentition, being in superior maxilla where appears most frequently. lt has specific clinical, radiographic and histological characteristics, calling the attention the coronary destruction to the inspection, and the presence of 'ghost teeth" in the radiographical image. The present therapeutic approach tries to be preservative, but it resorts habitually to the
extraction of dental pieces that require a fast rehabilitation with the purpose of restituing the function. We reporta case of Regional Odontodysplasia and the treatment performed.
