Atopy is a hereditary condition associated with hipereactivity of the immune-nerve system and perypherical organ: skin, rhinosinusal mucosae and bronquial mucosae.
Atopic dermatitis is the main clínical expression of this atopy in the skin. This dermatological disorder has increased in the last decade and its management and treatment means a high economical cost for the health systern. For this reason nowdays many scientists are dedicated to study the ethyopathogenesis behind atopic dermatitis to improve its treatment.
