The management of dijficult airway patients 1s an exciting topic that involves a not worthless number of patients. These patients should be assisted by medical doctor that are qualified to take quick and appropiated decisions, specially zuhen it is vital risk medical urgency.
Most of these cases are assisted by anesthesiologists who have a better formation zuith airzvay management. Taking that in consideration, we rnade a revieiu of the management of patients with difficult airiuay, from its recognition to its handling.
lt is also considered in this review the algorithm of dificult airway of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the new devices for the resolutions of problems and the last studies in the handling of these patients by non anesthesiologist medical doctors.
