Evidence based medicine is the most powerful tool for patient care. It is also important when teaching as well as
patient information is needed. Evidence is based on the different studies availables and among them the most powerful and with less bases is the raidomized clinical trial, unfortunately not always available. Funda and different types of studres and their hierarchy for evidence based medicine are presented in this paper.
