Morgagni Hernia in adults, Case report.
The congenital diaphragmatic hernia ( CD H) is frequent in new born, but in children and adults it is a very uncommon disease. We know very few about symptoms, surgical management and postoperative complications.
This paper presents a clinic case of a 64 years old female patient that presents a large CD H located in the anterior right position, known as Morgagni hernia. The radiologic studies confirm this diagnosis and a diaphragmatic hernioplasty and antireflux surgery was done. The patient presents go.od postoperative evolution and was discharged at 41th day after surgery.
