It' s a prospective analysis of 24 cases of traumatical colon s lesions in Viedma Hospitals Emergency Room, between March 1994 and March 1996. 24 patients (96o/o male) were operated, with a mean age of 25 years. The most frequently etiology was stab wounds (62%). 45.8% of the lesions were localized at transverse colon. There was 62.5% associated lesions, 87% in small bowel. To evaluate the magnitude of colon lesions, we used Moore s Penetrating Abdominal Trauma Index ( 1981 ). 75% were classificated like C/S
