We present different methods to asses the Nervous System function and the Cerebral Blood Flow during general anesthesia in the surgery of pathologies of the brain and spinal cord. Today, we have modem thecnics that allow as to know the metabolic needs, the cerebral blood flow and sorne functions of the Central Nervous System when the patient is anesthesied or under sedation in the intensive care unit.
