Abstract

Depressive disorders are highly prevalent in general population, constituting a great problem of publíc health. The prevalence of depressive dirorders in the adult population in Santiago is 5,5%. Estimations of the WHO indicate that, for the year 2020, the depresswe disease wíll be the second reason of years of lífe lost for health reasons worldNide. In the work force ít is a frecµent diseose that aff ects the productwity and generates important costs to the sociefy. Ar! antidepressing treatment improves the functionalíty and productr,;ity of the people wíth depression. Therefore ít becomes necerory to irrplement treatments specífical/y for 'MYkers.
