In this paper the experience concerning the management and posterior closure after colostomy and ileostomy is presented.
The most frequent osto,r1y correspond to ter,rlÍnal colostomy
located on the sigmoid segment.
Complication reach to 12%. The causes for the indication were diverticular disease. The restablishment on the bowel was perfomed after 24 weeks.
Morbidity and 1r1ortality was observed in 36.2% and 1. 7% respectivelly.
